Mole Removal Treatments
What are Mole Removal Treatments?
Mole removal treatments are specialized medical procedures aimed at safely and effectively removing moles from the skin. At ABH Medical Group, we offer a range of advanced techniques, tailored to each patient's needs, to address both benign and potentially dangerous moles.
How do the treatments work?
Depending on the type, size, and location of the mole, we apply various methods:
- U-th laser CO2 emission: Uses focused light beam to vaporize the mole.
- Cauterization: Applies diathermy to destroy the mole.
- Surgical removal: For larger or suspicious moles.
Mole Removal Treatments are ideal for:
- Removing benign moles for aesthetic reasons
- Eliminating potentially dangerous moles
- Improving skin appearance
- Preventing possible future complications

Personalized Design
At ABH Medical Group, each case is treated as unique. Dr. Fatsea and her specialized team carefully evaluate each mole, using advanced techniques such as dermoscopy, to determine the most appropriate removal method.
Comprehensive Diagnosis and Treatment
We apply the international dermatological ABCDE rule for mole evaluation:
- Asymmetry: Symmetry suggests a normal mole, while asymmetry requires further examination.
- Border: Benign moles have smooth edges around their perimeter. If the outline is irregular, this requires further examination.
- Colour: Variegation or color change of the mole requires further examination.
- Diameter: Benign moles have a smaller diameter. A mole with a diameter over 6 millimeters is considered suspicious.
- Evolving: Normal moles remain stable in size and color.
Depending on the type, size, and location of the mole, the most suitable treatment will be applied.
Safety and Effectiveness: Our Priority
All our treatments are performed in a controlled medical environment, adhering to the highest safety standards.
